SEPTEMBER 12 will be a special Sunday where we will be trying to get all of us together in the same place one time to launch the new school year- those who come regularly, those who have come once or twice, those who used to come, those who have been thinking of coming, maybe some who have no interest at all.  We will conclude worship with a big picnic on the grounds, food and drink provided by the church.  This is part of a national effort to get people back to church.  Hope you can join us!

WEDNESDAYS   SIS meets at 1pm to work on craft projects.   Sanctuary open for silent prayer from 4:00 to 7:30, with community shared prayer 5:45 to 6:30.  Explorers! taking a breat during August.  Adult discussion is from 6:30-7:30 (or so).   The campfires we have planned have been cancelled either for heat or rain. We'll try again in the fall.

EXPLORERS!  Kindergarden through 5th grade.  Starting in September, meeting from 6-7:30.  We are in need of adult leaders.  Consider- might you be one with a heart to share Christ with these great kids?

OVERNIGHT RETREAT  Our junior and senior high youth are having an overnight retreat August 27 and 28.  We are looking for an alternative site as our original site got flooded out.  Watch this sight for more info, or call us. 

 THE SHACK  Yep, we are STILL discussing it- with great results!  We meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.  Amazing discussions.  An amazing book.  As of the start of August we are in chapter 15 and expecting to wrap up this lifetime.  May repeat this for newbies, so get a copy and start reading...
